They deserve a rating of 6 stars if there was one.... Reached out to free air to get a second... opinion after a technician from one of the more well known air conditioning repair companies told me my unit was broken and I had to get a new unit.
I called free air, Stephen was able come in same day and he addressed my issue promptly and professionally. Also had Garey come in 2 days later to do some cleaning and servicing on the unit. These guys do quality work. I highly recommend them..read more

When our furnace gave out we had to mobilize to find a company who can be professional and... affordable.
Free Air proven to be the only company who was not upselling us on changing our air conditioning. It is sad to see how some companies take advantage of homeowners who they believe have little to no knowledge.
A big shout out to the Free Air team !!!

Wont even think of using anyone else! Responsive, great team, communications are wonderful (text... appointment reminder, text when tech on his way, text when job done) not only did they repair, they gave us tips and instructions to maintain. Will definately give them my future renovations business because their repairs team has proven they deserve it.read more

It was a pleasure having this company do the work I needed to have done. Garey showed up right when... he was supposed to started work, and then that's where everything became interesting. It turns out that the humidifier that I purchased didn't have everything with it that was needed. It was also wider than the ductwork itself which presented a new problem. Garey made a mounting bracket from scratch, cut the duct open and then installed it. We then discovered that it had an exterior weather sensor so he had to go outside in the snow, around the side of the house and drill a hole through the wall. There were a few other issues but to make a long story short, after almost 6 hours it was running like a dream and so far working perfectly.
Now here is the best part. I was quoted a price for a 2hr job. I was handed an invoice for....a 2hr job. No change in cost. That doesn't happen anywhere, or so I thought. I decided to call Steven and tell him about this problem. Garey did a fantastic job and not once asked for anything or muttered an inappropriate oath (as he had plenty of reason to) for the entire time. Steven suggested a much more agreeable fee more appropriate to the work and that was it.
Getting a good deal is one thing, taking advantage is another. I have no problem paying fairly for excellent attitude and work ethic as well as quality work.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND GAREY IN PARTICULAR.read more

Responded quickly to our request for a quote for a replacement A/C. Stephen Free explained his... recommendation and answered our questions politely, quickly and honestly. Did not use high pressure sales tactics. Installers were polite, efficient and professional — they even ran some extra conduit to protect outside wiring and installed a cutoff switch to bring the installation up to current electrical code. Ensured that the system worked, refrigerant was topped up and any air leaks were remedied before leaving.read more

I hate to do this because Steven was extremely nice over the phone - but I feel it’s an important... experience to share.
I booked an appointment with Steven for a unit in downtown Toronto. The appointment was a 3 hour window (6-9pm), my tenants stayed home waiting for the technicians to show up. I called at 9:30pm after no one showed up or called, and Steven told me they won’t be coming. No call or text in advance to let me / tenants know.
I arranged for my Tennant to work from home two days later, after making a second appointment with a Steven. I called him that day to make sure all is good. He asked me to call him back, at which point he told me that he’s sorry but again - they won’t be coming.
I see he’s got many great reviews so it’s a shame we won’t be able to work with him - but the unreliability factor in my experience was very disappointing. Thought it would be important to share.read more

We noticed our AC was not very cool, so I contacted Free Air based on the google reviews. They were... able to come out the following day (even though it was a Saturday) at no additional weekend rate. I was informed that there is a fee for the service call which is waived if any work was booked. The technician arrived on time and assessed the situation and put me in touch with their man in charge, Stephen, to make arrangements for repair. The following day (Sunday) Stephen and our original technician came and investigated the leak further (as discussed) and did the necessary work completely unobtrusively. I am thrilled with the work and happy to have working AC again. Both were professional and great to deal with. Thanks guys!read more

Excellent Service. Had two technicians come previously and completely misdiagnosed the issue and... quoted an exorbitant fee for repairs.
Once Free Air’s technicians were on the scene, they quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue and the cool air was flowing in just a few minutes.
The price for the visit was very reasonable.

In the last 4+ years, I’ve used FreeAir a few times for my rental property in Mississauga and the... service was nothing but exceptional and fast. Stephan came by 2 times (over the course of 2.5 years) for minor fixes but was honest about the problem each time and the fix did its job, but my tank eventually burst, and I used FreeAir again to replace the entire water heater unit. Anyone who owns rentals knows you want to remedy the situations quickly in the best interest of the tenants and FreeAir was a great partner to work with to keep everyone happy. Love the speedy, knowledgeable, and most importantly the honest service. Will highly recommend their team!read more
